As some of you know by now–I am a monumental Disney fan. Mostly the animated films over anything else. I just love the worlds and characters that those artists brought to life. I have painted a couple of Disney scenes so far, and I’ve got several more Disney paintings in the works as I continue my Disney series of beach paintings.
I wanted to share my future ideas with you, as I am super excited about it and wanted to get it out there. My excitement just CANNOT be contained! 🙂
But before I go over them, here are pictures of Ariel and Moana that I’ve recently done.
*NEW Disney ideas*
1. Genie on the beach!
This painting will be of the Genie lounging on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and tide! After Aladdin sets him free, he takes a much-needed vacation down by the shore. I will be sure to paint him donning his characteristic yellow Hawaiian shirt, sandals, and Goofy hat that he is wearing at the end of the movie. This one will be on a 18×24″ canvas.
2. Aladdin and Jasmine on carpet!
In this beautiful painting the two lovebirds will be flying on carpet over a beautiful beach at night. The night sky will be filled with stars and a beautiful moon. Since Aladdin and Jasmine fly around Africa and Asia, it is the perfect chance for me to show them near the ocean. It is going to be very romantic and a cannot wait to do this one! I am planning on painting this on a 24×30″ canvas.
3. Hercules overlooking the sea!
Another one of my favorite films is Hercules. I especially enjoy the scene of him standing at the edge of the cliff in the sunset looking out at sea. In my painting you will have the bright sparkles over the sea from the sun, Herc’s arms open wide, and some colorful flowers in the grass around him. It should be a fun painting! I’m planning to paint this on a 18×24″ canvas.
4. Ariel swimming under water!
I adore the Little Mermaid and definitely want to paint another scene with Ariel, but this time “under the sea,” pun intended! There will be seaweed swaying in the current, corals, bubbles, and various ocean creatures around as Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian go for a swim together. I even plan on painting a sunken ship in the distance as well, which I think will really give the painting a mystical quality. This one should be VERY epic and have the same feel as my other underwater paintings. I am planning to paint it on a 36×48″ canvas, which will be my largest artwork to date!!
That’s all I have so far! Thanks for reading. Don’t forget to check out my website, Etsy shop, and YouTube channel at the links below. Here is my newest speed painting video on YouTube!
Until next time,
let’s bring some color into the world!
